A tragic incident took place, where a biker lost his life after suffering a rhino attack in Assam ’s Pobitora on Sunday.
The dead person is identified as Saddam Hussain, a resident of Sonapur’s Kosutoli area.
According to sources, the deceased was travelling from Mayong to Chamata when a rhino unexpectedly attack at him from the roadside.
The Rhino Attack took place in the area of Hadugor, Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam.
However, till filling the reports no officials from the forest department had arrived to recover the body. The community expressed their anger due to the lack of response from the authorities.
The incident highlights the ongoing conflict between human and wildlife in the local and the urgent need of improved safety measure to protect the both resident and animals.
