Pune Woman Fall Into 100-foot Deep George while taking Selfie

A 29 years old Pune woman was rescued from the George by the locals after she fall into 100-feet deep George in Maharashtra’s Satara while taking selfie on Saturday evening.

The incident took place at the Brone ghat in Satara district.

The woman had come from Pune to Brone Ghat with groups of friends near Thoseghar waterfall where she fall into the deep George while taking selfie.

Videos of the home Guards and locals pulling the woman has gone viral through social media. They rescue the woman and rushed to the hospital and her condition is stable now.

Earlier, on 16 July an Instagram travel influencer of Mumbai, Aanvi Kamdar died after falling into 300-foot into a George of waterfall while shooting an Instagram reel near Mumbai, Raigad district of Maharashtra.

According to Police, 27 years old reel star Aanvi Kamdar Kamdar and her 7 other friends was on a monsoon outing. On 16 July, they gone for an outing at famous  Kumbhe waterfall at Mangaon near Mumbai. While shooting an Instagram reel, she slipped and fell into 300-foot George of Waterfall.

After this incident the Authorities urge the tourist to be extra careful during visit at any waterfall site during Monsoon season.
