Basistha police, Guwahati arrested a fraudster accused of operating a network of scam, sources said on Monday.
The accused identified as Loftor Rahman, alias as Rocky.
According to reports, the accused arrested from Boragaon, Guwahati.
As per reports, the accused was involved in multiple ATM frauds and ran a scam network.
During the arrest, police found an ATM card belonging to a fraud victim, Kiran Mahanta, along with two mobile phones. Authorities believe Rocky played a major role in organizing ATM scams across the city.
The investigation is ongoing to uncover more details about his fraud activities.
