MDH Rejects Allegation of Cancer-causing pesticide in its spices

MDH is a popular species brand of India. In Recent Days a news came to fore that some of the country like Hong Kong and Singapore banned the sale of the two Indian spice on their countries named MDH and Everest. This countries claimed that they have detected the presence of carcinogenic pesticides ethylene oxide in several species of the brands.

But the Company MDH has rejects all the allegation by saying the claims are false and have no solid evidence.

In a statement Published by MDH, its Chairman Mr. Rajeev Gulati said told to NNS, “The claims are false and have no solid evidence. Additionally, we would like to claim that MDH has not received any communication in this regard from the regulatory agencies of Singapore or Hong Kong.”

He also said that “no information or test report has beensent by the authorities of Hong Kong or Singapore regarding this matter to the nodal regulatory agencies like Spice Board of India and FSSAI. This confirms the fact that the allegations against MDH are baseless and devoid of facts and there is no concrete evidence available in this regard.”

In order to assure its buyers and consumers, MDH said that MDH does not use Ethylene Oxide (ETO) at any stage of storage, processing or packing of its spices. Our impressive 105 year old legacy of providing high quality products reaffirms our dedication in maintaining your trust.
