Massive Fire broke out in Jorhat, Assam where three shops gutted into Fire. The incident took place on November 2, 2024 early morning.
Fire engines promptly arrived at the scene effectively containing the blaze and preventing it from spreading further. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
Jorhat Superintendent of Police, Shwetang Mishra, shared an update on the incident, saying, “The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation. Fire engines have been deployed, and our teams are actively working to control the flames. Our primary focus is the safety of nearby establishments, and we aim to restore normalcy as soon as possible.”
Residents expressed relief at the swift response of the fire brigade, which successfully limited the damage to the affected shops.
