Karimganj Police on 1 July, conducted a successful raid in Baroigram area of Patharkandi which result seizer of huge amount of drugs.
Karimganj Police launched a search operation led by Patharkandi Police station Sub Inspecter Ashish Mohanta into a house at illashpur village from where the police recovered five soap boxes packed filled with heroin. They also arrested three individual in connection of it. The police conducted the raid at the house of Mohammad Zakaria and Bahar Uddin.
Three individual who arrested are identified as Mohammad Zakaria, Bahar Uddin, and Abdul Manaf father of notorious drug peddler Amir Uddin. Amir Uddin has fled from the scene.
Police also seized 9 mobile phone suspected to be theft from the house. Currently all the three individual in undergoing interrogation by law enforcement officials.
