CM Himanta Biswa Sarma challenge AIUDF and congress that Child marriage will banned in Assam before 2026.

During the last budget session of Assam in Legislative assembly the AIUDF member allegedly supporting the idea of child marriage. They all are against of banning child marriage. So they continuously objecting the governments efforts and initiative to stop the child marriage.

In this session CM Himanta Biswa Sarma visibly angered and warned the opposition party AIUDF and congress to stop the business of child marriage. He said that, “I will not allow to do business small children of Muslim community. Himanta Biswa Sarma further said that, “ I am challenging you that before the year 2026 I will closed the child marriage shops and business.”

He also said, “Congress people should listen, as long as I, Himanta Biswa Sarma, am alive, I will not allow marriage of small girls in Assam. We will not rest in peace until we completely close the shop that you people have opened to ruin the daughters of the Muslim community.”

He said, “Think about children of 5-6 year-old girls I will not allow to get married. As along as I am alive, I will not allow child marriage to happen in Assam.”

By targeting Congress he further said, They don’t fill ashamed, Congress don’t fee ashamed that it favouring the marriage of a 6-8 years old boy/girl.
