Guwahati police arrested the man who attempt to stab a woman and murder near Dispur Police Station on Sunday Night. The woman somehow escaped from the man.
The man identified as Rajesh Deb, who previously married with two woman lives in Pandu Guwahati.
According to reports, the victim married woman claimed that Rajesh came to her with the intention to hurt her and admitted that he had planned to kill her.
The woman also stated that he previously threatened and attacked her with a machete. The two was in a relationship for three years.
The woman make a complaint to the police station. Following the complaint the accused has been taken into custody and investigation has launched into the incident.
This incident came after an incident where a woman was brutally killed by an man allegedly angered by her rejection on December 26, 2024 at Naharani Path, last Gate in Guwahati.
