Gauripur, Assam Gang Rape Incident: Woman Battling for Life in Hospital

A horrific gang rape incident come out from Gauripur’s Alamganj area of Dhudri district, Assam which sent shockwaves across the region. The victim woman is currently fighting for life in critical condition.

According to reports, the shocking crime took place at Alamganj area of Dhubri where the victim was allegedly lured over a phone call by one accused, who convinced her to meet him. In the time of incident, the victim woman had visited her brother’s house in Baghmara, Gauripur, to attend a family gathering. Here, the accused Rezaul Haque reportedly called her to meet.

Reports says that the accused with seven others had pre-planned the hienious crime. She was allegedly raped by the groups on the roadside, after that they brutally attacked with sharp objects, which left her unconscious and critically injured.

How did the victim Discovered in critical condition

Locals from the area discovered the victims in the bloodied state and immediately called her family. She immediately rushed to Dhubri Medical College and Hospital, where she is currently undergoing treatment. She is fighting for her life.

FIR Logged against the Assam Gang rape accused

The family of the victim’s family has logged an FIR at Gauripur police station. Police officials have assured that strict legal will be taken. Further investigation is underway.
