Gauhati High Court, Assam received bomb threat on Tuesday Afternoon via Email. After getting the email, a police team and Bomb disposal team arrived at the spot immediately.
The bomb threat email reportedly emailed at to the Registrar’s personal Gmail account, following the threat email police team with bomb disposal team arrived at the spot and launched search operation.
They also bring a bomb detector to the spot. After intensive search the officials did not find any kind of suspicious object in the premises.
Authorities later, confirmed that the threat is to be hoax.
“It was a hoax. While an email was indeed received, its contents were found to be false. Police teams are on-site and have thoroughly searched the premises,” a senior police official told Assam Tribune.
Further investigation is going to know who have sent the email.
