A group of three Dacoit attack a tripper driver and looted all the cash and a mobile he had on 24 June late night at around 1.30 am in Natun Bazar area, Cachar. The driver also injured critically.
According to reports, the incident took place at around 1.30 am last night when a tripper was on the way to Mizoram from Silchar. The dacoit attack the tripper driver in the area near Natun Bazar Petrol Pump. The dacoit attack the driver when he didn’t want to give his bag to the dacoits, on her neck with knife. In this attack he injured badly. He somehow managed to call his family members.
Later at around 4.00 am the family members recovered him from the scene and admitted to emergency for treatment.
The tripper driver identified as, Jakir Ahmed Laskar residents of Udarbond’s, Pangram Part-1. They filed an FIR against the incident at Sonai Police Station.
The Police has launched an investigation to arrest the dacoit in the area.
About the Dacoit incident of Natun Bazar, Cachar what Jakir’s brother said
Talking to media, Jakir’s brother said, “He has called me last night at around 2.00 am. The incident has took place before he called me. Then I, our another with the owner party of Jakir work place went to the incident area recovered him. And then we took him to the Silchar Medical College & Hospital for treatment. And there he was bandaged in the injured area. Jakir said he was attacked by three people. They came with a bike and kept the bike far. After that they came toward him and captured and took his mobile. The bag of Jakir was with him which was taken by attacking him with a knife in her neck and fled from the scene.”
Earlier, on June 20 a robbery incident took place in Katigorah road in Cachar district, Assam. Khalil Uddin Daughter on the way to home from Badarpur at around 1.00 am by Auto-Rikshaw and was blocked by 5-6 armed miscreants or Dacoit by using fishing net. This dacoit threatened them with sharp weapon and looted all the items.
