Dead Body of Man Recovered Inside a College Premises in Jorhat, Assam

Today, 22 June morning a 40-years old man dead body recovered from the premises of an college in Jorhat, Assam.

According to reports, the deceased has been missing since yesterday. Today, a man who was passing by the area discovered the dead body and immediately called the police.

The deceased man identified as Kapil Baruah, residents of JPR in Gar-Ali region. According to sources the dead body discovered floating in a pond inside the Prince of Wales Institute of Engineering & Technology, college in Jorhat. The pond where the body discovered is a part of the institute.

After getting the call police immediately rushed to the scene. With the help of the local people police recovered the dead body from the pond. Later it had sent to the hospital for postmortem.

The cause of the death is not known yet. Police has now launched an investigation into this matter.
