Gandhibagh Park:

Gandhibagh Park is a beautiful park located in the heart of the city of Silchar. The park is named after Mahatma Gandhi. It is situated by the lakeside and is a beautiful place to spend some quality time with family and loved ones. The Shahid Minar lies within the park. It was built as a memorial for the 11 martyrs who died on May 19, 1962. It was due to the violent struggle against the government of Assam for the protection of Bengalis. The main attraction in the park is the toy train. A ride in the train is the most thrilling experience for children who visit the park.
