Cachar Police seized Rs 1.4 Crore worth drugs

Cachar police joint operation with BSF seized a huge amount of Yaba Tablets worth Rs 1 crore 40 lakh on Silchar-Lakhipur NH-37 on February 2.

According to reports, based on tip off Cachar police intercepted a scooty on Silchar-Lakhipur NH-37. After searching the scooty police seized 14,000 Yaba Tablet. The market value of the seized items would be Rs 1 Crore 40 Lakh.

Police said that the scooty has been seized during trafficking.

Further investigation is going on to arrest the culprit.
