On 13 June, Cachar police seized 20,000 Yaba Tablet and arrested 3 people in connection of it in Dholai. Among the arrested one is woman.
Based secret input, a Cachar police team of Dholai launched an operation in the area of Saptagram, Dholai, Cachar. From there they intercepted a two wheeler which was transporting Yaba Tablet to Bolero, but when the Bolero get to know about the police they fled from the scene.
Police managed to arrested three individual and recovered 20,000 Yaba Tablet from the scooty. The scooty number AS 11 Z3404 seized. The arrested individual identified as, Beni (36), Laldrim Heta (42) and Ishakalal Homadika all are of residents of Mizoram.
The market value of seized item would be Rs.6 Crore
Cachar Police SP said, “Operation against drugs will remain continue. I got a secret information on the drugs supply. Acting on tip off, a search operation launched at Saptagram, Dholai. In this operation we arrested three person among them one is woman. When we intercepted and search their vehicle from where we recover and seized 21,000 Yaba Tablet. We also seized the scooty which is used to transport. The market value of the seized items would be 6 Crore.”

Earlier, On 12 June, Karimganj Police launched an operation in Badarpur from where they seized 2,20,000 Yaba Tablet seized. They also three arrested to drug peddler in connection of it.
