Cachar police has seized huge amount heroin from a night bus at Digorkhal gate in Cachar on Tuesday. Three passengers arrested in connection of it.
On January 22, Cachar police has seized huge amount of heroin from a bus which going from Silchar to Guwahati. While on their way based on tip off, Cachar police intercepted a bus and arrested three passenger. Two among the arrested passenger is woman and one is man.
Police recovered the seized heroin from a woman bags, hidden inside a 9 soap boxes containing 102 grams. The number of the bus is AR 11A 7199 and operated by Deep travels.
The arrested people identified as Bablu Ali residents of Singirband, Ruma Begum and Babli Begum residents of Cachar’s Banskandi.
The estimate market value of the seized items would be several lakhs of rupees. Further investigation is going on.
