Cachar Police in collaboration with the Border Security Force (BSF) seized 10,000 Yaba Tablets along the India-Bangladesh Border.

The seized item was packed in 50 blue packets, carefully concealed to avoid being detected.
The operation took place in the area of Katigorah area under Katigorah police station jurisdiction.

Yaba tablet is being smuggled more often through border areas, usually coming from Myanmar and entering India through Bangladesh.

Cachar Police and BSF jointly seized the drug that marks the crucial step, which is challenging due to the porous borders in the area.

This seizure is part of ongoing efforts to make Assam state drug free, which has become a key route for drug smuggling between Southeast Asia and India.
