A bomb threat call was received in Ram Lal Anand College of Delhi University, a police official said.
The police said that the bomb threat call was received at around 09:34 am on Thursday, 7 March.
After receiving the news Delhi Police along with Ambulance, Bomb Disposal Squads (BDS) Bomb Disposal Teams (BDT) immediately reached the college. The students of the college were evacuated.
According to the DCP of South West Delhi Rohit Meena, “A bomb threat call was received by the staff of Ram Lal Anand College, University of Delhi at around 09:34 am. Immediately, police along with Bomb Disposal team (BDT), Ambulance and Bomb Disposal Squads (BDS) reached the college and student were evacuated from the college,”
Search and checking is underway.
DCP said that till now nothing suspicious has found in the premises.
Further investigation is under way.
