On June 24, a heinous crime took place where a man brutally murder his own mother after she refused to give him money in Kokrajhar, Assam.
According to reports, the murder took place over money dispute in Kokrajhar, Assam. When the mother denied to give money for buying drugs he attacked on her head with hard object which result death.
The accused identified as Padomoni Brahma 35 years old and son of late Professor Nagen Brahma. Nagen Brahma was a former principle of Kokrajhar Government College.
The victim mother identified as Parbati Brahma aged over 75 years. The local police of the area immediately arrest the murderer. The dead body of mother Parbati Brahma was recovered inside the room of the house, at Kokrajhar Ward no. 8 Mawiserkhoro (Hatimatha).
Another Murder incident in Dergaon, Assam
Another murder took place where a woman died due to prolonged torture by her own son on 24th June night. The incident took place Buralikson village, Dergaon, Assam.
The woman named, Renumai Bora has been suffering abuse from her own son name Deepmani Bora for a long time. Yesterday, a family dispute took place where Deepmani attack his father and threw bricks at his mother cheek.
And the other family members were also targeting in violently. The victim was already suffering from a brain condition and severely weakened by son’s repeated assaults. After the injury she was admitted to the Jorhat Medical College, where she dies for her injuries.
After the incident the accused Deepmani Bora fled from the scene. The Police now launched an investigation against him to arrest the accused.
This horrific incident shocked the local people of the area. This incident also highlights the serve of consequences of domestic dispute and emphasized the urgent need for intervention and support to prevent this type of incident.
