Three entrepreneurs from Barak Valley, Assam are on a mission to GoPadFree for woman during their periods time. Sourav Chakrabarty, Kirti Bikram Acharjee and Satyajit Chakrabarty founder of HealthFab has shine on Shark Tank India season-4 and they also secure Rs 2 Crore deal with 7% equity with four sharks. Assam Three Entrepreneurs ‘HealthFab’ on Shark Tank India 4
The three Assam Entrepreneurs Founders of HealthFab entered Shark Tank India Season 4, they were so confident about their product’s potential to transform menstrual hygiene. However, they had some concerns about its design. Despite receiving some criticism, they stood by their vision. HealthFab initially asked for ₹1 crore in exchange for 3% equity, sparking intense discussions among the sharks.
The Sharks were so impressed by the three entrepreneurs’ passion and dedication. Shark Vineeta asked for a product demo to see how much period blood the panties could hold. Namita praised the product but questioned if it would prevent side leaks. Kriti explained that the panties could absorb around 30ml, making them suitable for long wear.
Shark Peyush pointed out that another similar product is already exist, but Kriti stated that HealthFab made period panties of cotton, unlike US product use Polyester. The sharks then asked if competitors could replicate the product easily. Kriti responded that while big brands like Jockey might treat it as just another product, for them, it was their core business.
Namita asked if they had considered making similar panties for women with urinary incontinence, a common issue. The founders revealed they were already working on a new product to address this need. Vineeta noted that such panties exist globally but not in India, meaning HealthFab could be the first in the country to introduce them.
How did Assam Entrepreneurs HealthFab Founders Secure the deal
Vineeta offered ₹50 lakh for 1.75% equity and ₹50 lakh as debt with 9% interest. Peyush asked further questions before making a better offer. Anupam praised their business model and called them future global entrepreneurs. Aman also showed interest and teamed up with Vineeta for what they called a “dream deal.” In the end, all four sharks—Anupam, Peyush, Vineeta, and Aman—offered ₹2 crore for 7% equity, and the founders accepted.
