Assam Child Development Project Officer arrested for accepting bribe in Tinsukia

On June 24, the Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam arrested a government officer for accepting bribe. The government employee identified as Child Development Project Officer Anupama Gohain.

According to reports, today a team of Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Assam launched an operation in Child Development Project Office at Makum, Tinsukia. The officials acted after they received a complaint against her for demanding money in exchange for releasing house rent of Anganwadi Center. She trapped red-handed in her officer after accepting bribe for release of house rent of Anganwadi center.

The Directorate of Vigilance & Anti-Corruption took their social media and post about the incident. They stated, “Today @DIR_VAC_ ASSAM  trapped red handed Anupama Gohain, Child Development Project Officer, after she accepted bribe from the complainant in her office at Makum, Tinisukia, for release of house rent of Anganwadi centre.”
