Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani while addressing Assam Advantage 2.0 summit, he announced Rs 50,000 Crore investment in Assam on Tuesday, Guwhati.
In Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit several policymakers, business leaders and investors gathered to discuss Assamโs development potential. In this summit PM Narendra Modi, Minister of External Affairs S. Jaishankar, Assam CM Himanta Sarma was also present. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurate the Summit.
The investment will support infrastructure projects to make Assam a key economic hub. Funds will go into airports, aero cities, city gas distribution, transmission networks, cement production, and road projects, aiming to improve connectivity and industrial growth.

What did Adani stated while addressing Advantage Assam 2.0?
While addressing the Assam Advantage 2.0 he started the speech honouring PM Narendra Modi, Governor of Assam, Assam CM. He said, โIt is a privilege to stand before you today at Advantage Assam 2.0. Every time I set foot in this sacred land of Maa Kamakhya, I am captivated by its natural and limitless beauty. Just as the mighty river Brahmaputra reshapes the landscape of this state to carve its own path, I must say that it is our Hon’ble Prime Minister who has reshaped the landscape of possibilities for Assam.โ
He also said that PM Narendra Modi is the first minister who landed the seven-sister state into fabric of our nation. He also stated, โThe programs to enhance connectivity and infrastructure are not just initiatives, they are monuments of hope for the entire region. You have not only integrated Assam and its sister states into Indiaโs growth story but laid the path to make them catalysts for our nationโs future as well as boost trade and investment with the Southeast Asian nations.โ
During the announcement of investment Gautam Adani stated, โIt is this vision of progress that we are eager to be part of. Therefore, it is with great pride that I announce today the Adani Group’s commitment to invest Rs 50,000 crore in Assam.”
He also stated that, โ Over investment spent across airports, aero cities, city gas distribution, transmission networks, cement production and road projects.โ
The Adani Group’s major investment is set to strengthen Assam’s infrastructure, generate jobs, and drive economic growth. With key projects across various sectors, the group aims to be a key player in the state’s development journey.
