A henieous crime has come out, a sweeper of school assault two 4 years old nursery student in school bathroom of a well-known school in Badlapur. ย Today, August 20, a massive protest has staged by the angry parents of the school children on the tracks in the Badlapur Railway Station, which disrupted the local railway schedule.
At around 8 am of Tuesday morning, hundreds of parents of the school students staged protest in the Baldlapur railway Station seeking stringent action against the accused. The parents are angry because the school administration not coming forward the matter.
The management authorities of the school in Badlapur under Thane district, Maharashtra has suspended principal and two staff.
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), taking note of the incident, has decided to send a team to Badlapur to conduct an investigation.
The name of the accused is Akshay Shindhe age 23, the sweeper worked as a cleaner contracted through a third-party company.
When did the incident of Student assault took place in Badlapur
The incident took place on August 12, and 13, according to reports. Afterward, when one of the girl refused to go to school, her grandfather took her for a medical examination, which confirmed that she had been abused. A similar situation occurred with another girl. The families of both girls went to Badlapur East Police Station around noon on August 16 to file a complaint. However, their FIRs were not registered until 1 a.m. that night.
The parents alleged that they have forced to wait for over 12 hours to file a complaint. The school authority also did not take immediate action against the culprit. Amig the massive protest the Senior ย Inspector of Badlapur police has transferred from the post for delaying to filed FIR.
The people of Badlapur staged the protest in demand of justice of the school girls.
The CM of Maharashtra requested the people who are protesting to not block tracks. He also stated that โI have asked police to make this case water-tight. We will not spare anyone, be it a police officer or school administration.โ
The school issued a public statement expressing deep regret over the incident and acknowledging serious lapses in student safety. The administration promised to install more CCTV cameras across the campus and enforce stricter safety measures to prevent such incidents in the future. They also assured full cooperation with the authorities.
