Monkeys Save 6-year-old from rape attempt in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh

A troop of monkey saved a 6 years old girl, from rape attempt in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. This groups of monkey stopped a man allegedly raping the girl. The family of the girl filed a complaint charge under Pocso Act against the unidentified accused.

The victim child is a UKG student in Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh, whose parents said about the incident and how the group of monkeys saved their daughter, reported Times of India.

The girl’s parents said that the accused man lured their child to an abandon house, where he takes off her clothes and was attempting to sexually assault her. In that time a troop of monkey aggressively rushed towards the man, forcing him to live the girl and leave the minor and flee.

After reaching home the traumatized child said about the incident to her family.

The girl’s father stated, “My daughter was playing outside when the accused took her away. The man could be seen in nearby CCTV footage, walking narrow lane with my daughter. He is yet to be identified though. He also threatened my child that he would kill me….. My daughter would have ben dead by now if the monkeys had not intervened.” Reported Times Of India.

Baghpat circle officer Harish Bhadoria stated that investigation is going on into this matter. Based on the complaint by the girl’s family police have registered FIR under BNS sections 74, 76 and POCSO Act. More section will be added if needed. Police also trying to identify the accused and arrest him.
