A disturbing incident come into fore that, a differently-abled man has been allegedly tortured and killed by his own parents in Karimganj. This incident has shocked the local community of Purahuria village, Karimganj, Assam.
According to reports, the victim identified as 32 years old Sohail Ahmed, was locked inside his home where he suffered brutal assault and torture. This torture and assault lead to death.
The incident came into light when the man’s dead body discovered floating in a pond near his residence on Friday (August 2) night.
The discovery has led to serious allegations against his parents which include father, mother and aunt, with video footage reportedly supporting the shocking details of the crime.
The Local Police was informed and they immediately went to scene and recover the body. The dead body was sent to the hospital for post-mortem. The victim father identified as Abdus Sahid and identity remains unknown.
The police have launched investigation into case.
