Major fire broke out near Ambicapatty point, Silchar at Air Conditioning repair shop at around 12:45 noon. Fire tenders rushed to the scene.
Today, major fire broke out at Ambicappty Point, Hospital road, Silchar at shop at Gopal Complex building. The fire reportedly alleged that it started at an air conditioning repair shop near Hotel Maruti on Hospital Road.
Fire tenders with SDRF team quickly rushed to the scene and took control over the fire.
The cause of the fire is still unclear. But it is suspected that the fire has originated from short circuit. Authorities currently investigating the matter. No reports of casualties reported.
Several Electronics item destroyed which kept for repairing. The intense blaze and heat also affect the adjacent shop which caused several damaged. Black smoke from the fire had covered the entire area, this cause tension among the locals.
