A Vice Principal of Homeopathy Medical College Vice Principal in Guwahati has died by suicide on Tuesday, July 9, morning.
According to reports, the incident took place at Swahid Jadav Nath Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital in the area of Barbari, Guwahati.
The deceased, Vice Principal has identified as Dr Narayan Debnath age 57 years. He was found hanging at his quarters inside the college premises at around 5.45 am. The reason behind the extreme step is yet to be known.
Dr. Narayan Debnath first discovered by nearby students and immediately called the authorities. He used to live in with his family for the past year. When he did the incident, the family was not in Guwahati.
Originally Dr. Narayan Debnath was from Doboka in Lanka, later he bought property in Nagaon.
The police recovered his dead body in the presence of magistrate and sent it for post mortem.
Further investigation is going on.
