Guwahati Traffic Alert: New Flyover Construction leads restriction and diversion

Guwahati Traffic Police has released a traffic restriction to get ready for building the foundation work of the Cycle Factory Flyover. the Traffic Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police in Guwahati has changed some traffic routes and rules starting from July 15. These changes of traffic rules will remain in place until completion of the construction.

According to press release by the Office of the Deputy commissioner of Police, Traffic, Guwahati, Assam:-

1. No goods carrying vehicles/commercial vehicles and slow moving vehicles will be allowed to ply from either side, i.e., from Cycle Factory point to Bishnupur Tiniali and from Bishnupur Tiniali to Cycle Factory point, till completion of this proposed construction.

2. The stretch in between Cycle Factory point to Birubari Tiniali will be One Way.

3. The vehicles coming from Lalganesh/Cycle Factory will be diverted at Cycle Factory point towards Bishnupur Road.

4. The vehicles coming from Arya Nagar/Birubari Tiniali will only be allowed to ply from Birubari Tiniali towards Cycle Factory Point.

The Traffic Deputy Commissioner, Guwahati urged the citizen to follow the new Traffic Rules. This will help construction go smoothly and reduce any problems. These step will also help traffic flow well and make sure to finish the flyover work timely.
