A heinous crime took place in Kokrajhar, where a daughter and her mother were brutally murder. The incident occurred on July 24, night.
It has been reported that the mother and daughter both were killed by daughter’s husband at their house in the area of Shanti Nagar, word no-3. The victim identified as Asha Mallik the mother and Dwipshikha Mallik the daughter. The victim identified as Manav Shah. Manav Shah is currently on run.
The henieous incident took place on last night, which sends shockwaves to the local community. According to neighbours, they heard a loud argument which was coming from the Mallik household before the tragic incident took place.
Sources revealed that the daughter and mother to death with an axe.
The locals called the police. When the authorities arrived at the scene it is too late to save the victims.
The Kokrajhar Police have launched a preliminary investigation into this murder. They also launched search operation to caught the Manav Shah, who fled from the scene after committing the heinous crime.
A Senior official said, “We are doing everything in our power to apprehend the suspect. We urge anyone with information on his whereabouts to come forward.”
The exact motive behind the murder is not known yet.
Family members and friends were shocked by listening about the incident.
