Two youth died after being hit by a speeding train in Hojai, Assam. The victims identified as Aftab Ali and Sharifuddin, both residents of the Bhuyanpatti, Hojai.
According to sources, they both were sitting on the railway track and deeply immersed in an online game, wearing headphone. At the time of the incident, the headphone, which likely prevented them hearing the sound of approaching train. This distraction from gaming seems to have caused the accident.
Locals authority immediately arrived at the accident area following notification and recovered the bodies. The dead bodies were sent for a postmortem examination as part of ongoing investigation. his tragic event highlights the serious danger of being distracted, especially in hazardous areas like railway tracks.
