On August 25, a group of fisher man discovered a lifeless body of a newborn child near Kakra river in Kaligang area of Karimganj in night.
At the time group of fisher man went out for routine night of fishing along the bank of the riverbank. They suddenly saw a carton which made them suspicious which attract their attention. When they opened the carton the lifeless body of the newborn child recovered.
The fisher men shocked by discovered and calls the Karimganj police. The police arrived at the scene and retrieved the body.
The reason behind the death of the baby is not clear. As well as it is not found that whose newborn child is.
They also started investigation into the incident to uncover the truth behind the incident.
