A heinous crime has been reported in Cachar ’s Kalain, an uncle murdered his own nephew. The incident took place in the Talkar Gant area of Jalalpur, Kalain.
The accused Bitta Goala was arrested late night after an overnight police operation yesterday. This incident occurred last night, when Bitta Goala under influence of alcohol influence, began abuses his nephew Shyamal Goala. When Shyamal began to protest against his uncle, a heated argument took place.
Suddenly Bitta outbrust on violence, took an iron rod and attack Shyamal’s head with a brutal force. Shyamal immediately fall on the ground. Local residents immediately took him to the local hospital, but doctor declared him dead on arrival.
After committing the crime, he fled from the scene. However, the Cachar police responding swiftly launched an operation and managed to arrest the uncle.
The Cachar police filed an FIR against him.
