Har Ghar Tiranga 2024: We all ready to celebrate Independence Day on 15th August. This year we will celebrate 78th Independence Day. We have received Freedom from British colonial government on 15 August 1947. So, on 15th August we celebrate the day as Independence Day every year.
For Freedom many freedom fighters were killed, harassed and made to languish in jail for their cause. So, as an Indian we must remember and hounour the freedom fighter who gave their life that we can be free from British rule.
Har Ghar Tiranga 2024
In the year 2022, under the banner Azadi Ka Ma, the Indian Government launched the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. This year on 8 August, 2024, PM Narendra Modi took his X and announced the third edition of Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign.
Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign 2024 has scheduled from August 9 to August 15, 2024. This campaign is launched to invite people to bring Indian National Flag or Tiranga home and hoist it with pride. The people can take their photo and selfie with Tiranga and share through harghartiranga.com.
According to official website, “Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign that started under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to mark India’s independence. It stemmed from the thought that our relationship with the national flag has always been more formal and institutional than personal. Bringing the flag home collectively as a nation thus became symbolic of not only an act of personal connection to the Tiranga but also an embodiment of our collective commitment to nation-building. The idea behind the initiative was to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag. The Ministry of Culture is the nodal ministry for Har Ghar Tiranga.”

Then click on next
Provide your name and phone number with Country details
Click on upload selfie
Upload the picture on the site and click on the Generate Certificate option. This will generate your certificate.
How to maintain the flag While hosting?
Here are some simple guidelines to make sure the Indian flag is displayed with respect, as outlined in the Flag Code of India 2002 and the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971:
- Display the Flag Correctly: The saffron stripe should be at the top, and the green stripe should be at the bottom. Make sure the flag is not upside down.
