Guwahati Police on Thursday late night arrested a man on suspected of drug peddling. Police recovered narcotics and seized stolen bike from his possession.
Based on secret inputs, Basistha police conducted a raid on Thursday late night in the area of Khanapara after receiving information about Krishna Nath, who is suspected of drug peddling and smuggling.
According to police, 19 containers of drugs recovered from his possession during the raid. Police also seized a bike with registration AS 01 AV 1460, which police suspect to be stolen.
Further investigation is going on, in connection of the raid.
On the same day, a team of crime branch arrested one drugs peddler Babu Ali (25) of Gauripur in Pan Bazaar, Guwahati. Police seized 20 vials of suspected Heroin, weighing 26.51 gms.
