Fighter Movie Review: Fighter movie directed by Sidharth Anand has released today (25 January). The first big stars Hindi Entertainment Film. The film stars with Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. The film is best than Pathan some of the viewer said.

Director Siddharth Raj Anand is a director, writer and producer. In the beginning, he became well-known for making many successful romantic funny movies like Salaam Namaste (2005), Ta Ra Rum Pum (2007), Bachna Ae Haseeno (2008), and Anjaana Anjaani (2010). Later on, he became a top director in action movies, making some of the most money-making Hindi films like War (2019) and Pathaan (2023). This year Fighter released on 25 January in eve of Republic. As the film based on the Air Force of India.

The Story of Fighter

The plot begins with a person from a terrorist group called Jaish, recording a message for the Indian government. In the message, he says that by the time everyone sees the video, he’ll be happy in heaven, suggesting something bad might happen, like a suicide attack.

Now, let’s go back one year, where the top pilots of the Indian Airforce, like Bash (Akshay Oberoi), Taj (Karan Singh Grover), Mini (Deepika Padukone), and Hrithik Roshan (Patty), gathered along with some others. Their leader, Rocky (Anil Kapoor), told them they were on a mission because a bad group wanted to attack the Srinagar base camp. They named their team Air Dragons, and Anil Kapoor asked them to practice for the mission and become good friends.

During this time, Mini begins to have feelings for Patty. But Patty has a sad and difficult past that still troubles him, and it’s connected to Rocky. Now, let’s come back to present day, where a terrorist who recorded a message, where kills many Indian CRPF soldiers in a suicide bomb. The master mind of the planning of all this is Ashraz Ahmed, played by Rishabh Sawhney, who was responsible of several attacks in Afghanistan, Kabul, and other places before.

He plans to strike India from within, using the Pakistan army and ISI agents to target the Srinagar base camp. In one of the air battles between India and Pakistan, the enemy sets up a trap for Patty, but Bash and Taj fall into it when they cross the LoC and ambushed. Rocky blames Patty for this, and while he spares him in the investigation, he removes him from the squad and sends him to Hyderabad to work as a flying instructor.

Bash and Taj are imprisoned in Pakistan. Will Patty return as a fighter and bring them home with the support of his teammates? For that, you must see this epic tale of bravery and patriotism on a large canvas.

Siddharth Anand’s “Fighter” hailed as his best work, surpassing previous hits like “War” and “Pathaan.” The narrative, interwoven with thrilling and emotional elements, creates numerous goosebump-inducing moments. The impeccable aerial action sequences, enhanced by the impactful background music by Sanchit Balhara and Ankit Balhara, elevate the film to new heights. The movie balances vivacious energy in the first half with emotional and patriotic moments in the second.

The ensemble cast of “Fighter” stands out, with each actor delivering a powerful performance. Hrithik Roshan, as Squadron Leader Shamsher Pathania, captivates with his emotional depth and impeccable dialogue delivery. Deepika Padukone, as Meenal Rathore, not only shares sizzling chemistry with Hrithik but also shines in emotional scenes. Anil Kapoor’s portrayal of Rocky is apt, and supporting actors Akshay and Karan deliver their best as Bash and Taj.

Special commendation goes to the design of the magnificent aerial action sequences, the unmatched camera work by Satchith Paulose, and the crisp editing skills of Aarif Sheikh.
