A chaotic situation took place at campaign rally that took place in Pennsylvania, US on Saturday. The former President of US and Republican candidate Donald Trump was shot by an unidentified man at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania while speaking at a stage.

After the incident Donald Trump shortly informed via. social media, โ€œI was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear, “Much bleeding took place”.

Donald Trump is Safe

The Secret Service said via post on X, “The former president is safe”.

Trumpโ€™s campaign has released a statement by saying that he is fine and undergoing treatment.

The CNN reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has identified a 20 years old man as suspected shooter but his identity has not yet released.

Donald Trump quickly rushed off from the stage by the US Secret Service agents to a waiting vehicles as several gunshots broke out as an apparent assassination attempt.

In a picture we can see clearly blood on Trumpโ€™s ear and face as protection officer rushed him away.

Suspect shot dead who fire in Donald Trump Rally Campaign in Pennsylvania

The suspect shot dead at the scene by US Secret Service officers, according to the agency’s spokesperson, Anthony Guglielmi.

He added that one bystander killed in the shooting and two others critically injured. Officials later revealed that all three victims were male.

Law enforcement sources told CBS News, the BBC’s US partner, that the male attacker had a rifle and fired from an elevated structure a few hundred meters away from the venue.

FBI agents, who are leading the investigation, told reporters in Butler that they had “tentatively identified” the dead gunman but were still trying to find out his motive.

Special Agent Kevin Rojek confirmed that the agency was treating the shooting as an assassination attempt.

He also said that the suspect was not carrying ID, and investigators were using DNA to try to identify him.

An eyewitness said to AI Jazeera that she was working as a volunteer and sitting in the first row directly in front of President Trump when the incident occurred.

โ€œHe was speaking. All of a sudden, we heard โ€œpop, pop, popโ€, sounding a lot like fireworks. Then we realised all the Secret Service, it was at least four of them, jumped on the stage, pushed him down,โ€ she said.

โ€œThere were the news people [who] were around them in the front, they pushed them all down to the ground,โ€.

Leader McConnell took social X and said, โ€œTonight, all Americans are grateful that President Trump appears to be fine after a despicable attack on a peaceful rally. Violence has no place in our politics. We appreciate the swift work of the Secret Service and other law enforcement.โ€

US President Biden said, โ€œI have been briefed on the shooting at Donald Trumpโ€™s rally in Pennsylvania.  Iโ€™m grateful to hear that heโ€™s safe and doing well. Iโ€™m praying for him and his family and for all those who were at the rally, as we await further information. Jill and I are grateful to the Secret Service for getting him to safety. Thereโ€™s no place for this kind of violence in America. We must unite as one nation to condemn it.โ€

Former President of US, Barack Obama is relieved that Trump wasnโ€™t seriously hurt. He said via. X, โ€œThere is absolutely no place for political violence in our democracy. Although we donโ€™t yet know exactly what happened, we should all be relieved that former President Trump wasnโ€™t seriously hurt, and use this moment to recommit ourselves to civility and respect in our politics. Michelle and I are wishing him a quick recovery.โ€
