A video has been circulating in the social media where we can see three traffic police officer of Delhi dividing bribe money. This incident has taken place in front of Ghazipur Police station. The traffic police has suspended.
In CCTV footage we can see a Delhi traffic police arguing with a man inside a police checkpost in Gazipur of Thrill Lauri Circle. After a brief discussion seen the traffic police signals the man who then keep a bundle of money on a table. Once the man leaves the cop sit down and took the money. The traffic police then counts the money and kept it to money purse.
In another video we see that three cops was sitting in together as the first cop divide the money within them. The other two receive their share.
Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena has responded to the video on social media and announced the suspension of the two assistant sub-inspectors and one head constable.
He stated, โTaking cognizance of this post, after preliminary investigation, the above 3 policemen have been suspended and a comprehensive departmental inquiry is being conducted against them.โ
