Bengaluru Murder: The 29-year-old woman who alleged murdered and her died body found pieces in a fridge on September 21, after the neighbours complained of a foul smell in her flat. Her husband Hemant Das, claimed that she was having an affair. He suggests that the victim woman Mahalakshmi’s lover might be involved in the murder, reported India Today.
Following the murder, Hemanth said that the victim family has filed case against Ashraf, the lover suspecting involved in the case.
Hemanth told reporters , “I have filed a complaint against Ashraf”.
Hemanth also said estranged wife never mentioned Ashraf to him, but she stayed in regular contact with him. He found out about their affair in April or May 2023, he told reporters.
Hemanth and Mahalakshmi had been married for six years and have a four-year-old daughter. However, they have been living apart for the past nine months due to domestic issues.
Several month ago, Hemant Das also filed a complaint against the lover at a Bengaluru police station.
Hemant Das stated, “…I filed a complaint against him at the Nelamangala police station once. Post the complaint, it was mandated that he must not come to Bengaluru. But I don’t know where else they went…” reported India Today.
Bengaluru Woman Murder Prime Suspect Identified
On Monday, Home Minister G Parameshwara said that prime suspect of the 29 years old woman Mahalakshmi has been identified and holed up in West Bengal. The police have collected a lot information regarding the woman’s death.
G Parameshwara said that, “The police have collected a lot of information, a lot of clues. One individual is also been…kind of they say he is the one. Unless we collect more information we can’t really say. He is from West Bengal they say,” ANI quoted.
Bengaluru Police commissioner B Dayananda on Monday said that the police have identified the prime suspect in Bengaluru Women murder case.
He stated, “As far as the Mahalakshmi case is concerned, we are investigating it from all angles. The prime suspect who is likely to have committed this ghastly offence is identified. The only thing is we are yet to apprehend him. As and when the person is caught and the interrogation is done, then we will be able to provide further details.”
