Assamese renowned Singer Rajib Sadia has passed away while undergoing treatment at the Assam Medical College and Hospital in Dibrugarh on Monday afternoon.
On Sunday night, he suddenly collapsed on the stage during a live performance, leaving everyone shocked. After it he was immediately rushed to the AMCH hospital for treatment. Despite the medical team’s best efforts, they were unable to save him. On Monday afternoon he was declared death.
The incident took place at Phillauri Rohbari Tourism Fair.
Doctors confirmed that Rajeev Sadia died of a heart attack. There are concerns about a possible vein injury at the back of his neck that might have worsened his condition.
