CM Announced Assam Direct Recruitment Grade 3 and Grade 4 Exam Date

Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma has announced the exam date of Assam Direct Recruitment (ADRE) for Grade 3 and Grade 4. He announced the date on July 8 during Facebook live session.

The date of preliminary exam of Grade-3 are September 15, 22 and 29, followed by mains and viva rounds. The Grade-4 preliminaries exam date are October 20 and 27, followed by mains and viva assessments.

There was a total of 12,600 post of Grade-3 and Grade-4. The online application for the post has took place on 10 November-29 December, 2023.

ADRE Grade-III and Grade-IV exam Date– Grade-III will start on September 15, 22 and 29, 2024. The Grade-IV preliminaries exam will be held on October 20 and 27, 2024.

Education Qualification for Grade 3 and Grade 4:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Bachelor’s Degree with Computer Certificate/Diploma of minimum 6(six) months duration from a recognized Institute
• HSSLC (Class-12) or equivalent examination passed
• HSLC (Class Ten) or equivalent examination passed

Selection Procedure:

1. There shall two parts of selection process – Written test and Interview.
2. The scheme of examination shall be strictly as per the “Assam Direct Recruitment for Class-lll and Class-IV Analogous Posts Rules, 2022” as amended from time to time. Further, this scheme will be published at least one week before the conduct of written test.

• The selected candidate will have to bring all the original testimonials i.e. Certificate of proof of age, Caste Certificate (in case of reserved category candidates), Educational Qualification Certificates, Disability Certificate (in case of PWBD candidates) and Declaration in Form – “A” under Rule 5(1) of the Assam Public Services (Application of Small Family Norms in Direct Recruitment), Rules, 2019 for verification at the time to be notified later on, amongst others. An undertaking with regard to fulfillment of all eligibility criteria has to be uploaded in the portal. The Discharge certificate will be required in case of Ex-serviceman.
