SSC CGL Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Staff Selection Commission will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2025 to fill the 14,582 vacancies in different post. To apply for the SSC Combined exam you need to know the eligibility criteria that given below or you may check through official notification.
Nationality: A candidate must be Indian or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan.
Educational Qualification:
For Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level;
Or Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.
For Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Bachelor‟s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or Institute. The candidates should have studied the subject of Statistics at Degree Level in Part-I, Part-II and Part-III or in all the six semesters of three year degree course and not simply a paper in any part of the Degree or six semesters at degree level.
For All other Posts: Bachelor‟s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent

SSC CGL Recruitment 2025 Vacancy Details

SSC CGL 2025 Selection Process
The SSC CGL 2025 selection process consists of two tiers to recruit candidates for various Group B and C posts.
Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination (Qualifying in nature)
Tier-II:
- Paper I: Mandatory for all posts
- Paper II: Only for applicants of the Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) post in the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation”
Paper-I will include following four sections as under:

B: Reasoning and General Intelligence.
Section-II: 13.8.4.2.1
A: English Language and Comprehension
B: General Awareness
Section-III: Computer Knowledge
