Sabooj Sathi Scheme In West Bengal:-
The Chief Minister of West Bengal has come up with a plan in order to help students of West Bengal by providing them Bicycle which helps students in various purpose. The main motive of this scheme is to help the children of our state where families to live a comfortable life. So many families in the state are not able to afford the travelling expenses of their children in order to travel their schools. So government of West Bengal is distributing around 10 lakh bicycle to every eligible students of the state.
Benefits of the Sabooj Sathi Scheme :
With the help of this Sabooj Sathi Scheme, some students those who belong from economically weak family will be able to travel their school without any trouble or delay. This helps students to focus on their studies well and also saves their families from travelling expense. In different rural regions of the State. Most of the children was not able to go their schools because of the lack of travel facility and distance.
With the help of State Government, students will be able to read and write and go their home safely from school. Also this scheme plays a huge rule in protecting our eco-system by providing eco-friendly bicycle which will be safe for children and this earth too.
Features of the Sabooj Sathi Scheme :
Some important features of the scheme are as follows :-
- With the help of the scheme, around 6 million students from 12000 different government school was provided with a bicycle.
- There is a effective supply chain organization of bicycle with a 1000 trucks facility for transportation and 2500 delivery spot.
- Also Sabooj Sathi Scheme is an effective assambly line with total number of 3,500 fitters which assembles 20,000 bicycle daily.
Eligibility Criteria For Sabooj Sathi Scheme :
Some eligibility criteria of the scheme are :-
- Applicants who are applying the Sabooj Sathi Scheme must be a permanent resident of the State.
- Applicants who are studying in class IX, X, XI & XII will be eligible for the scheme.
- In order to be eligible for this scheme one should be studying in a government school or madrasahs. This scheme is only beneficial for government school students.
