OpenAI, headed by Sam Altman, has rolled out a major offer for its Indian users — free one-year access to ChatGPT Go starting November 4, 2025.

The company said the move is part of a special celebration for its first DevDay Exchange event in Bengaluru, marking OpenAI’s growing connection with India’s expanding AI community.

“To celebrate OpenAI’s DevDay Exchange in Bengaluru, ChatGPT Go will be free for all Indian users who sign up during the promotional period,” OpenAI confirmed in a release.
