Assam Government has announced a scheme name Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2025 on 12 February 2024 in the budget session. The aim of the scheme is to provide financial assistant to the girl student for upper study. This scheme will now include the students of Assam University, Tezpur University along with the students who have enrolled in self-financing course.

CM Stated, ‘Nijut Moina scheme’ one of the government’s most trailblazing initiatives, will now cover girl students of Assam University, Tezpur University and those enrolled in self-financing courses as well.

During Press Conference on Lok Sewa Bhawan Dispur on August, he announce that from August 6 the form fill up means application of Nijut Moina Scheme will start. All the girls student of Government colleges, Schools and two Central University can apply.

Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme 2025 Objective

The objective of the Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme is to motivate the girl student to continue their study. The initiative goal is to provide financial supports to the girls student for their higher study such as Higher Secondary, Graduate and post-graduation in any stream. The main aim of this scheme to stop child marriage. Mukhya Mantri Nijut Moina Scheme will be started from October.

How to Apply

  1. Students must fill out the prescribed application form and submit it to the educational institution where they are currently enrolled.
  2. Students are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide is accurate and complete.
  3. Registrars or Principals will collect and verify the application forms, then upload the verified data through their institutional portals for auto-verification.
  4. Every head of the institution must appoint one or two Nodal Teachers to oversee the implementation of the MMNM Scheme at their institution.
