Massive fire broke in Borail View Regency hotel, Silchar on April 3, which caused panic among the guests and staff of the hotel.
It is suspected that the fire have started from kitchen chimney and then spread to other part of the hotel. The fire has destroyed properties worth lakhs.
Fire fighters and police immediately rushed to the scene after receiving information of the fire. The fire officials managed to take control over the fire after a prolonged effort.
