A heinous crime has taken place in Faridabad, Haryana where a father repeatedly raped his 14 years old daughter for several days, official said on Friday. He is an autorickshaw driver, age 42 years.
The victim girl is 14 years old and studying in class 7, had been living with her father after her mother left the family, allegedly because of his alcohol addiction.
According to police, the man suspect allegedly target his elder daughter every night after returning home.
In severe pain and distress, the girl sought help from an elderly neighbour, who immediately took her to a doctor.
During the medical examination, the doctor discovered signs of assault. When questioned by her neighbour, the victim shared the details of the horrific incident she had faced.
The police were soon alerted about the matter.
A case has been registered under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act for aggravated penetrative sexual assault and sexual harassment at the Bhupani Police Station.
The accused has been remanded to judicial custody, while the investigation remains ongoing, police confirmed.
