Major fire Broke out after multiple cylinder blast in Kalapahar, Guwahati city on Wednesday (September 18), afternoon.
The fire erupted at around 11 am, near the Labour Office, opposite Arya Vidyapeeth College at Gopinath Nagar, according to officials from the Fire Department.
The blast, originated from cooking cylinder at a residence which triggered a massive fire that consumed the building and spread to a nearby mosque. An eyewitness reported that 7-8 cylinder blast at the scene.
Six fire tenders arrived at the scene to take control of fire. The incident has damaged many things. Fortunately, no injury has been reported till now from the cylinder blast area of Guwahati.
