CBSE (an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, Government of India) on behalf of KVS and NVS invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment on direct basis for various teaching and non-teaching posts in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti. - Total Posts: 1,465 (KVS) + 1,513 (NVS) + 18 [PGT (MIL) in NVS]
5. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
- Total Posts: 2,794 (KVS) + 2,978 (NVS) + 443 (NVS, 3rd language)

Eligibility Criteria KVS & NVS Recruitment 2025
Educational Qualification
1. Principal
i) Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks from recognized institution/University.
ii) Bachelor degree in Education (B.Ed.) with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized Institution/University.
OR
Three year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution/University with at least 50% marks OR Four years Integrated Degree with at least 50% marks including B.Ed. component from NCTE recognized Institution/University (50% marks)
Desirable Experience for NVS:
- At least three years’ experience as House Master of a fully residential school.
- Experience of working in a fully residential/CBSE affiliated/Govt. recognized school
2. Vice Principal
Master Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
Bachelor Degree in Education (B.Ed.) with atleast 50% marks from NCTE Recognized Institute/University
OR
Three-year integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. with atleast 50% marks from any NCTE recognized Institute/University OR Four years Integrated degree with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized Institution/ University including B.Ed. component (50% marks).
3. Assistant Commissioner
i) Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks
ii) B.Ed. from NCTE Recognized Institute/University
4. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
(a) Integrated Post Graduate Course from NCTE recognized institution/University, in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate including B.Ed. component.
OR Master Degree from a recognized institution/University with at least 50% marks in aggregate in the concerned subject AND
(b) B.Ed. Degree from NCTE recognized institution/University with atleast 50% marks
OR
Three years Integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed. from NCTE recognized Institution/University with atleast 50% marks
OR
Four years Integrated Degree with at least 50% marks from NCTE recognized Institution/ University including B.Ed. component
