- 24 nos. of post for Regional Forensic Science Laboratories at Bongaigaon, Dibrugarh, Silchar and Tezpur respectively
- 7 nos. of post for Mobile Forensic Laboratories

Educational Qualification
- Sc in Chemistry/Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject
- Sc in Botany/Zoology / Anthropology (Physical) /Biotechnology/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject
- Sc in Physics/Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Forensic Science with specialization in concerned subject
Eligible Criteria
- The candidate must to be an Indian Citizen as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a Permanent Resident of Assam.
- It is mandatory for all candidate to have Employment exchange in the state of Assam for filling up the vacancies
