Financial Assistance to SC Students Appearing Mains Exam of UPSC

The Directorate of Welfare of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes, Government of Assam, has administered, the ‘Financial Assistance to SC Students Appearing Mains Exam of UPSC 2025’ scheme to provide financial assistance to the student belongs to Schedule cast who qualify for UPSC Mains. Each eligible students will get Rs.50,000.

The online application for the scheme has started and will continue till 31 September, 2025. For online application applicants can visit to myScheme

Financial Assistance to SC Students Appearing Mains Exam of UPSC 2025 Eligibility

The eligibility Criteria of the scheme

  1. The applicants must belongs SC caste
  2. The applicants must be qualified for UPSC Mains Exam 2025
  3. The annual income of the applicant’s parents/guardians must not exceed ₹5,00,000/-.

Benefits of the Scheme

The Benefits of the scheme is to provide financial assistance upto Rs.50,000 to the SC students qualified for UPSC Mains Examination.

How to Apply Financial Assistance to SC Students Appearing Mains Exam of UPSC 2025 Scheme

First STEP Sign Up to DigiLoker

Second Step: Sign Up to myScheme

1: Click on the “Sign In” button located at the top right corner of the page. Enter your DigiLocker mobile number and 6-digit PIN.

2: Tick the checkbox for “I consent to terms of use”, then click “Sign In”. You will redirecte to the DigiLocker Consent Page.

3: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Allow”. You will now be successfully signed in to myScheme.

Third Step: Scheme Application

Documents required:

(a) Caste Certificate (valid SC certificate inserting sub-caste)
(b) Parents annual income certificate issued by Circle Officer
(c) Admit Card of Prelims Examination
(d) Proof of qualified in Prelims Examination
(e) Self-attested front page of passbook
(f) Voter ID/PAN Card
(g) Aadhar Card
